We are excited to inform you that our Duquesne University Career Closet crowdfunding campaign – thanks to your generosity – not only reached, but exceeded its goal! The campaign raised a total of $1,035 from 22 donors – 103% of our goal!

These donations will allow us to purchase specific items based on the particular needs of our students. In addition to the monetary donations, the publicity from the campaign also resulted in a number of faculty, staff and alumni donating new and gently used professional clothing that has helped stock our Career Closet shelves. The Career Closet promotional handout (pictured below) is being placed throughout campus to let students know that this opportunity exists.

Because of this overwhelming support, Duquesne University students now have the opportunity to look their best at that first big job interview, at job fairs and at professional networking events. It’s an impact that will launch their career and allow them to live out Duquesne’s Mission in the work that they do.
