The Migration Club is so thankful to its generous donors! We reached our $1000 goal. We are excited to use this money to kickstart the McAnulty College Community Pantry. In addition to purchasing food to stock the pantry, we are also investing in food storage, reusable canvas bags, and refrigeration. Beyond our material needs, we will use your support to continue building partnerships with other food-based organizations in and around Pittsburgh.
These investments and your donation will help us provide the Duquesne community with reliable access to a sufficient quantity of nutritious food. Our pantry will not only provide high-quality food for our community, but will also raise awareness and facilitate conversation around the issue of food insecurity. As the Migration Club continues to grow, we will continue to focus on food-based projects, including sustainability initiatives on campus and community gardens in Pittsburgh.
