Alpha Phi
Alpha Phi Duquesne University Crowdfunding Page!
We, the sisters of Alpha Phi, would like to thank you for taking time out of your day to look at our Crowdfunding page. Since 1970, the Epsilon Iota Chapter has brought Alpha Phi's core principles of sisterhood, scholarship, and service to Duquesne University and the greater Pittsburgh community. The sisters of Alpha Phi take pride in our involvement on campus, our philanthropic efforts and the unique bond we share amongst each other.
Alpha Phi Today:
- Received most improved in formal recruitment two years in a row.
- Received excellence in philanthropy
- Involved not only Alpha Phi but also organizations such as the National Nursing Honor Society, Autism Speaks U, Strong Women Strong Girls, and many more.
- With the impeccable support from one another, we strived for excellence in our academics and received an accumulative GPA of 3.33 in the fall of 2017.
- In the spring of 2018, we gained 30 incredible new members along with 81 active members in the chapter of Epsilon Iota
Each year, Alpha Phi hosts two benefits, which raise support and draw donations for our national philanthropy, the Alpha Phi Foundation. The Alpha Phi Foundation is a trifold organization - one that supports scholarship and financial aid for sisters, empowers women in leadership roles, and most importantly, promotes heart health.
Please donate today!
By supporting Greek Life, Duquesne University, and our national philanthropy, the sisters of Alpha Phi commit themselves to our most fundamental principles: sisterhood, scholarship, and service. But the good work we do cannot go on without additional support. Duquesne University has provided a platform for us to garner this support by establishing the Greek Life Student Support Fund.
Our sorority will use your donation to help pay for:
- sisters’ annual dues
- transportation to our conferences
- small renovations to the Alpha Phi win
- additional chapter needs such as sisterhood events
* Use of all donations must be approved by Rebecca Mickler, Director of Greek Life, and Sarah Sperry, Assistant Vice President, Alumni Engagement.
