We are the active brothers of Duquesne University’s Chapter of Sigma Tau Gamma, and we appreciate you checking out our crowdfunding page! Our fraternity values leadership, brotherhood, scholarship, and community service. A successful crowdfunding campaign would help launch our fraternity to greater heights.

What is Sigma Tau Gamma up to at Duquesne University?

We are heavily involved at Duquesne and have a strong presence all over campus. This past year we were awarded Chapter of the Year and recognized as the Most Improved Chapter the year prior. We organize two philanthropy events to benefit the Special Olympics of America every year. Recently participating in the Pittsburgh Polar Plunge, we raised over $1400 this past February. Additionally, our chapter organize the Keg Olympics each spring, raising money for the Special Olympics of Pennsylvania and to spread alcohol awareness on campus.

Why are we crowdfunding?

Today, we have over 50 active brothers within the fraternity, and we need your help to keep expanding in the upcoming years. Donating to our crowdfund will allow us to improve rush events, growing our chapter. Members who are struggling to pay dues can have that burden lifted, allowing them to continue participating in the campus community.

Upgrades to our wing, such as furniture, will help create a space where Sig Taus can live and work collaboratively and productively. By helping us to create a more comfortable environment, you will foster greater productivity and create a more enjoyable living experience on campus, and create a greater incentive for potential members to consider joining Greek Life.

Your donations will also support improved philanthropy events. A greater event will draw more participants and lead to greater fundraising as a result. By fusing social media and philanthropy the chapter will be able to run promotional content on social media platforms, reaching a broader audience to promote our philanthropy
