One Final Note:

Thank you for joining us in helping support the communities of St. Edward’s in Baltimore and Our Lady Queen of Peace in Arlington. Through your donations, we were able to help provide renovations and repairs to the parish house at St. Edward’s, helping to improve spaces for church activities and meetings.  We were also able to make a donation of $490 to OLQP in support of the sister parish in Medor, Haiti.

Through meeting the parishioners in Baltimore, we learned that Church is truly a family. The St. Edward’s family welcomed us with open arms and hearts and showed us the importance of incorporating faith into every aspect of life, trusting in God and the power of prayer. In learning about the ministries and outreach programs at OLQP, this church community displayed to us the true strength that evolves from a group of people coming together in acts of service.  In a week that emphasized the importance of community, we developed our own through the friendships and memories created on this trip. We learned how we as people, although now geographically separated from whom we learned so much, can exist cor unum et anima una, with one heart and one Spirit.
