Thank you for supporting Duquesne’s Summer Intensive Writing Camp! With your help, we raised enough money to match the cost of one full tuition.
We had an amazing week at camp! Because of your donation, we were able to provide the campers with supplies and a visit from a local writer, Jeff Martin! By offsetting these costs, we are finally able to start a tuition fund for next year’s camp! Thanks to you we are able to work towards making our camp and the arts more accessible to young writers in the Pittsburgh community.
If you are interested in owning The Road So Far, the journal that the campers produced at the end of the week, please send your contact information to writingcamp@duq.edu and we will be more than happy to send you a copy!
Thank you again for your generosity and support!

Thank you so much for your support of the :lexicon journal's crowdfunding campaign for Duquesne University's Summer Intensive Writing Camp. Your generosity helped us raise $450, matching the amount of one tuition for the camp. Your charitable donation will go toward funding this year's t-shirts, supplies, and guest speaker; by off-setting these costs, we will then be able to start a scholarship fund for one student to attend the camp next summer tuition-free!
We are extremely grateful for your support. By starting this scholarship fund, we will be making a huge difference in one young writer's growth and development of their craft. The start of camp is less than a month away and we can't wait to share the campers' work with you!
Sincerely,
The :lexicon Staff
