Description
Who we are:
Kappa Epsilon is a professional pharmacy fraternity. At Duquesne university our organization helps provide a community for pharmacy students as well as bring awareness and raise money for our two philanthropies, breast and ovarian cancer. Through our commitment to professional development, service, and brotherhood we strive to create an environment where members encourage one another to reach their full potential.
Why we're fundraising:
We are raising money to aid in registration costs so our members can attend the 56th KE national convention. At our national convention, our members have the opportunity to connect with our Kappa Epsilon members and professionals from across the country. The experience also allows us to bring new ideas, knowledge, and inspiration back to our chapter and the Duquesne pharmacy community. It will also help us build a new foundation to strengthen our chapter as we continue to strive to further our careers.
Last year, because of the funding we were able to send three of our members to the convention. At the convention, our chapter was presented with an outstanding chapter award. This achievement was a true testament to our dedication and hard work from all of our members throughout the years.
Kappa Epsilon contributes to Duquesne by helping pharmacy students develops skills, connections, and confidence. Through fellowship, collaboration, service, and professional development, we encourage members to become well rounded pharmacists.
