Who we are:
The Duquesne Dance Team is a competitive and spirited team that represents Duquesne University through dance at athletic events, campus activities, and nationals in Daytona, Florida. Our mission is to train all season to attend NDA nationals in Daytona, Florida and represent Duquesne University on a larger scale. The team plays a unique role on campus by combining athleticism, performance, and school spirit to help create an exciting and welcoming university experience.
Last year, because of funding, we were able to travel to NDA nationals and we placed 7th in the entire competition which is not only an achievement as our highest placement to date but it is also an achievement to place in the top ten being a student run team and leaning solely on each other for support and encouragement. We were not only able to push our team to new heights, but we were able to prove to ourselves that we can accomplish anything when we put our minds and heart into it.
Why we need your help!
The Duquesne Dance Team is raising money to support our journey to nationals. We spend an entire year training intensely in order to travel, compete, and place at NDA nationals in Daytona, Florida. This funding is so important to us because we are a student run team and we need as much support from family, friends, and outside supporters to run this team to the best of its ability and to reach our goals. Funding will help us immensely with representing Duquesne University on a larger platform.
