Supply Chain Council Fall 2025

The Duquesne Supply Chain Council (DSCC) is a student-run organization within the Palumbo-Donahue School of Business dedicated to fostering the next generation of supply chain professionals. Our mission is to connect students with real-world industry leaders through networking events, professional development workshops, and company engagement opportunities throughout the greater Pittsburgh area. We aim to bridge the gap between classroom learning and career readiness by offering students meaningful experiences that prepare them for success in the field.

What are we fundraising for?

We are raising funds to enhance the student experience within the Supply Chain Council by supporting initiatives such as factory tours, in-class industry discussions, and large-scale networking events. These experiences allow students to gain hands-on insight into operations and logistics while expanding their professional networks. Your support will also help us provide event incentives and engagement opportunities that encourage more students to get involved and recognize the importance of professional networking in building their careers.

The DSCC plays a vital role in career development and community building for Supply Chain Management students. We offer mentorship opportunities, resume and interview workshops, and direct connections with employers who actively recruit Duquesne graduates. Beyond professional growth, our organization fosters a sense of collaboration, leadership, and representation for students interested in the fast-paced world of global supply chain and logistics.

A defining moment for our organization was hosting our first-ever “Direct Connect” networking event, which brought together over 19 companies—including Fortune 500 firms—and more than 100 students for an evening of professional engagement. The success of this event showcased our members’ commitment to collaboration, preparation, and leadership while highlighting the strength of Duquesne’s business community. It was a proud moment that reflected our mission: empowering students to connect, grow, and lead.

Stay Connected!

We welcome all who share our passion for logistics, innovation, and professional growth to get involved! You can learn more about events on our Instagram @Duq_SCC or email our president at keizlers@duq.edu
