Paper Hugs Fall 2025
The Paper Hugs Project is a new student organization that started in the fall of 2025. In our monthly meetings, we make handwritten cards to send to people in the Pittsburgh community that deserve some extra support! Each meeting, we pick a different organization in the Pittsburgh area to donate our cards to. Through small acts of kindness, we work to create a positive influence on the Pittsburgh community. 
What are we fundraising for?
Our crowdfunding initiative this year is focused on purchasing our own card-making supplies (cardstock paper, markers, colored pencils, stamps, stencils, tape, glue sticks, etc.)! Any leftover resources will be used to create merchandise for members of the club to enjoy!
The Paper Hugs Project is dedicated to fostering a positive and uplifting community on campus. Our meetings are a place to unwind from the stress of classes and work towards a greater goal. Through small acts of kindness, we work to create a positive influence on the Pittsburgh community.
At our first meeting, we made 100 cards for children staying at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh! It was inspiring to see so many students come together for a good cause.
