Mic Drop A Cappella Fall 2025

Mic Drop A Cappella is a group of 14 dedicated undergraduate students at Duquesne University with varying majors and concentrations. The group is self-directed, and all arrangements are written by our talented members. We perform shows on campus for friends, family and the Duquesne community, at off campus locations such as nursing homes, and we have a competition season where we perform at various collegiate-level events beginning in January. However, most importantly, we are here to spread our love for music and performing.

What are we fundraising for?

We are raising money to help support our members through the competition season. This includes paying competition dues, travel costs, professional recordings of our setlist, and other miscellaneous expenses along the way.

Mic Drop A Cappella provides entertainment through community-oriented performances both on and off campus. We welcome all students to every performance and hope to bring a little joy to campus through our love for music.

Mic Drop A cappella has recently had the wonderful opportunity to professionally record a few songs from our repertoires over the past two years and release them on all music streaming platforms. We currently have two EP’s available for anyone to listen to! We are grateful to be able to afford this through past donations from our community. Additionally, without all the hard work and dedication from our members, none of this would have been possible.
