FASA (Filipino American Student Association) is a student-led organization committed to promoting Filipino culture, heritage, and community both on campus and beyond. Through educational seminars, social gatherings, community service, and cultural events, FASA offers a warm and inclusive environment for students from diverse backgrounds to commemorate their Filipino heritage and participate in meaningful cultural exchanges. Our objective is to foster unity, pride, and leadership among our members while preserving our heritage and fostering connections that transcend generations.
Through the cultivation of a robust sense of cultural pride, community, and belonging, FASA assists students at Duquesne. The organization offers a secure and inclusive environment in which students, particularly those of Filipino or Asian descent, can connect with peers with comparable interests or origins. FASA organizes events emphasizing Filipino culture, including traditional dance workshops, culinary festivals, and community discussions, which educate and involve the broader campus community.

By making a substantial donation, you can assist in funding a diverse array of cultural, educational, and community-building initiatives at FASA. This encompasses resources for seminars that foster student empowerment and heritage awareness, ingredients, and materials for events such as FASA Panaderia (our Filipino bake sale) and cultural festivals. Additionally, it includes supplies for cultural showcases and performances. Your assistance directly affects our capacity to commemorate Filipino culture and provide students at Duquesne with meaningful experiences.
