Duquesne Swim Club

This is a collegiate sports team where we practice and compete together to represent Duquesne in the greater Pittsburgh and West Virginia areas. We have practice daily in the towers pool, this opportunity allows us to bond and grow expanding our experience in college. At the practices we swim, chat and play fun games. Many people on the team competed in high school but did not want to continue in college. We also have swimmers that have never swam before. The club allows everyone to keep good physical and mental health while also having fun.

This club allows people of all backgrounds to come together and from connections through competitions representing this proud institution we attend. It gives people the ability to connect with people of all majors and formulate bonds that are inaccessible through academic clubs.

Why we need your help!

In this club we practice daily and compete in meets in the area. To compete we must pay to be registered in the meets as well as for gas that will be used to get us there. Towards the end of the season, we submit times for people to compete in nationals; the national meet can be anywhere in the USA (2025 is Arizona and in Florida in 2026) we must pay our way to get our swimmers there and so the money donated can help us get to higher-level meets where we can really represent Duquesne.
