Gamma Phi Spring 2025

We, the brothers of the Gamma Phi Fraternity, would like to cordially thank you for visiting our crowdfunding page. For those who may not know, the Gamma Phi Fraternity was founded at Duquesne in 1916, where it has remained for the past 109 years. As of today, we remain the oldest and last remaining local fraternity in the great city of Pittsburgh. Because Gamma Phi was founded at Duquesne University, the brotherhood has a rich and illustrious history with the University. Throughout the past 109 years, the Gamma Phi Fraternity has produced generations of respectable alumni who have left Duquesne better men because of the brotherhood instilled by the Gamma Phi Fraternity. And that is why we ask for your help today.

Current State of the Gamma Phi Fraternity

Since last year’s crowdfunding efforts, Gamma Phi has been on a steady incline of membership and presence on campus. This past year we have taken in 4 new brothers and are sadly having 2 brothers graduating and becoming alumni. With more support than ever from our incredible alumni network, Greek life office, and other university faculty. The bothers are dedicated to preserving the brotherhood that has been passed down through generations at Duquesne, as well as sharing the brotherhood with new members to come. With assistance from the Gamma Phi Alumni Association, the Gamma Phi Fraternity is continuing to be a proactive and engaging fraternity on campus. That is why your donations are at the upmost importance to help preserve our traditions and the presence we have at Duquesne.

What will donations be used for?

With your help and generous donations, we will be able to fund many events, projects, and activities for our brothers. The brothers are currently exploring our options for activities to host. Currently we are looking to doing events that establish and get the name of Gamma Phi out to other students of Duquesne. Your donations will be used to fund these events that will spread the Gamma Phi brotherhood. Other areas in which donations would be helpful to us would be purchasing our fraternity’s insurance, any Greek Life fees, new Gamma Phi letters, graduation medallions, apparel for new brothers, composites, maintaining the Gamma Phi War Memorial on campus, and assisting with many smaller fundraising efforts for our philanthropy and our brothers. Increasing our presence on campus is a top priority of the brothers of Gamma Phi and your generous donations will make that possible.
