We are Duquesne University Student’s in Athletic Training, but we go by DUSAT for short! We are a student run club connecting Duquesne students currently enrolled in our athletic training program, or students enrolled in the health sciences program interested in pursuing a career in athletic training. As a club, we host group events that encourage fellowship and promote professional development of students in the program, as well as allowing them to connect with faculty and staff, including our own Duquesne Athletics ATs.
DUSAT supports Duquesne’s athletic training students in professional manner, as it provides opportunities for networking, conference attendance, community service, professional development, and engagement in the greater athletic training community.
Why we need your help!
With your help, all donations will help us send our students to the 2025 Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers Society (PATS) Annual Meeting and Clinical Symposium in Harrisburg, PA from June 5-7. PATS also provides students with the opportunity to showcase their knowledge of athletic training with a quiz bowl. In the past, DUSAT has sent student representatives who have won! This year, along with sending students to the convention, we are looking to compete and represent once again! In addition to covering the cost of attendance to the conference, donations will also help to pay for hotel rooms for our students. We have sent students to athletic training conferences in the past and would love to be able to continue to do so!
