Women's Club Volleyball

Club Volleyball at Duquesne University is a group of motivated girls who have a passion for playing and competing. Many of us played all throughout high school and wanted to continue playing through college. The club team provides an outlet for students to play competitively while also having fun.

Our club team provides students with an opportunity to continue playing competitive volleyball while also giving them the chance to meet people of similar and different majors, creating lasting friendships through playing, traveling to tournaments, and team bonding outside of practice. Physical activity has shown to improve mental health, and playing competitively allows girls to grow as both people and athletes.

Donations would be used to help pay for tournament entry fees, new equipment, and jerseys. Each tournament costs about $150-$175 per team. We plan on going to 2-3 tournaments per semester and the cost of each tournament can add up for each player. College is stressful and through donations we wish to not impose tournament and equipment fees on the players.
