Who Are We?
We are a group of 12 Duquesne University students traveling to Puerto Rico. To learn more about each of us and why we want to go on this trip, watch our video!
What Are We Doing?
This is the second year that the Puerto Rico Mission Trip, sponsored by Spiritan Campus Ministry, has been offered to the Duquesne Community. We will be venturing into Puerto Rico to serve the community alongside the Spiritan priests who live there. We will be serving a home for the elderly and multiple childrens’ homes in the surrounding area.
We are excited to put our faith into action by walking with those on the margins, serving those in need, and learning from the Spiritans in Puerto Rico who share the same mission and beliefs as we do here at Duquesne!
How Can Your Donation Help?
The funds raised will help enrich our education experience as Duquesne University students by providing tools and supplies for our work with the residents of the home for the elderly and the childrens’ homes. Some of the projects we plan to do in our time there are:
Please donate today and help spread the word on social media! Thank you!
A gift of $10 could assist us in purchasing arts and crafts supplies for projects and games to play.
A gift of $25 could assist us in purchasing musical instruments like tambourines, egg shakers, etc. so we can have singalongs and worship nights with the patients of Hogar Vega Mar.
A gift of $50 could assist us in purchasing supplies for repairs at the center so we can put our hands to work.
