The Duquesne Trumpet Studio is a group consisting of trumpet performance and music education majors from the Duquesne University Mary Pappert School of Music. The main objectives of this performing ensemble are to provide Duquesne trumpet students the ability to perform in a mass chamber ensemble, to compete in national and international competitions, and to represent Duquesne on an international level to students and pedagogues across the globe.
The Duquesne Trumpet Studio is preparing to compete at the National Trumpet Competition, which is a multi-day competition and pedagogical event for college-age aspiring professional trumpeters. This year, the competition is being held at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX. Our organization is seeking crowdfunding to help offset travel costs and make attending this competition possible.
