Who Are We?
We are a group of 8 Duquesne University students who will traveling to San Juan de la Maguana in the Dominican Republic this August.
What Are We Doing?
While we are there, we will be facilitating a day camp with Our Lady of the Hope Parish for children ages 6-10. The camp will be focused on structured play and mentorship.
How Can Your Donation Help?
The money raised will go towards funding shirts for the children, sporting equipment, arts and crafts, books, and snacks for the children. Any additional funds raised will be donated towards medical supplies for the local pharmacy.
In addition to running the camp, we will be spending time with the people in the community through home visits and tours of the area.
