The Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA) is an organization for students majoring in occupational therapy. We help students
grow as professionals by providing volunteer opportunities, hosting guest lecturers from the profession, and allowing the different cohorts to interact and mentor each other to success!
We are fundraising for the upcoming AOTA conference, which is one of the main professional development opportunities that is offered to attendees of the club and the OT program. AOTA 2025 will be in Philadelphia from April 3rd to 5th.
Why We Need Your Help…
We are crowdfunding because not every student who wants to go to the AOTA conference is able to without financial assistance. We are looking to provide each student the opportunity to attend this amazing opportunity for networking and learning about our profession from other OTs! Each student attending the conference will have the opportunity to attend or present poster sessions, network with occupational therapists across the United States, attend lectures and head from keynote speakers, travel with other Duquesne students and faculty members, and be able to represent DU OT department.
