Tikkun Olam Makers Spring 2024
We are the Duquesne Chapter of Tikkun Olam Makers (TOM) which is a non-profit organization that provides open source technology and adaptive equipment to individuals with disabilities, elderly, or vulnerable populations through the Pittsburgh community. TOM @ Duquesne is fundraising money for our toddler mobility trainer event that we are hosting at the end of April. These mobility trainers are small wooden wheelchairs for children with physical disabilities aged 6 months-3 years to help them gain independence in movement. We are asking for support for the supplies to build these mobility devices.
Why we need your help!
- The more donations we receive allow us to build more toddler mobility trainers to be donated to children throughout the community
- Donations will allow more students to learn fabrication skills and work on interprofessional networking during the event
Thank you for your consideration!
