Who Are We?
We are a group of 12 Duquesne University students traveling to Arecibo, Puerto Rico. To learn more about each of us and why we want to go on this trip, watch our video!
What Are We Doing?
This trip to Puerto Rico, sponsored by Spiritan Campus Ministry, is a new experience for the Duquesne community. This is the first time we will be venturing into Puerto Rico to serve the community of Arecibo alongside the Spiritan priests who live there. We will be serving at Hogar de Envejecientes Vega Mar, a home for the elderly that specializes specifically in taking care of patients with Alzheimer's.
We are excited to put our faith into action by walking with those on the margins, serving those in need, and learning from the Spiritans in Puerto Rico who share the same mission and beliefs as we do here at Duquesne!
How Can Your Donation Help?
The funds raised will help enrich our education experience as Duquesne University students by providing tools and supplies for our work with the patients with Alzheimer's at Hogar de Envejecientes Vega Mar. Some of the projects we plan to do in our time there are:

A gift of $50 could assist us in purchasing supplies for repairs at the center so we can put our hands to work
