What is the Duquesne University Band Association?
The Duquesne University Band Association (DUBA) is a newly formed organization that focuses on all things instrumental. We consist of 16 members all through the Mary Pappert School of Music. The organization is dedicated to informing musicians about band-specific pedagogy, such as:
How will your donation be used?
Since the organization is new, we would like to use the funds to host new guest speakers for our meetings to bring new knowledge to our members.
Why donate?
For us to serve our members well and to further band music, we need your help. This simply can not be done alone. DUBA is a newly established organization with a thriving and active membership. Being able to host guest speakers and run social events is crucial for our success, and to help advocate for music in general. The organization thrives off of having guest speakers and other events to access knowledge that members would not be able to get on their own.
