Dear Donors, 

Thank you very much for your donation to the Duquesne University American Chemical Society (ACS) 2022 Spirit Crowdfunding Campaign. Your generous donation enabled our ACS student chapter to send 7 of our members to the 2023 ACS National Conference, which was held in Indianapolis, IN on March 26-30, at no cost to them. Specifically, it helped cover the costs for registration, poster printing, travel, and meals and, ultimately, provided our student members with an invaluable experience beneficial to their professional development and growth as scientists and researchers. 

Thanks to your generous donation, our student members had the opportunity to present their Duquesne research on the national stage. By attending the ACS National Conference, our student members were able to participate in poster sessions and special lectures, network with professionals and peers from the scientific community in a more laid-back, social setting, and attend the ACS Career Fair and Graduate School Exposition as well as an awards ceremony where our ACS student chapter was honored as an Outstanding and Green Chemistry chapter. This invaluable experience will help our student members to strengthen their research, communication, and leadership skills and grow into the next generation of scientific researchers and leaders. A wholehearted thank you all of our donors who made this campaign so successful! We raised over double our efforts from last year, and with your support, we’ll be able to send our members to the 2023 American Chemical Society National Conference in March at no cost to them.

Hi AGAIN everyone!

In less than 12 hours, we’ve already achieved our first stretch goal! We’re so excited and so incredibly grateful that this campaign has seen such generous donations. With that in mind, the Duquesne ACS is now aiming for our ambitious second stretch goal of $3000.
