Last November, you donated to our crowdfunding campaign, which helped defray costs for Duquesne University students to attend the American Chemical Society National Conference in San Francisco, CA, April 2-6, 2017.

Thanks to your generosity, a total of nine undergraduates were able to attend the conference. At the conference we:

• Gave poster presentations on our research
• Attended the ACS Student Chapter Awards Ceremony at which our Chapter was awarded both the Green Chemistry Student Chapter Award and the Outstanding Student Chapter Award!
• Explored different options for both graduate school and industry work at expositions while in San Francisco
• Attended several talks on chemistry-related topics
