We Are Back From the ACS Conference!
Last November, you donated to our crowdfunding campaign, which helped defray costs for Duquesne University students to attend the American Chemical Society National Conference in San Francisco, CA, April 2-6, 2017.
Thanks to your generosity, a total of nine undergraduates were able to attend the conference. At the conference we:
- Gave poster presentations on our research
- Attended the ACS Student Chapter Awards Ceremony at which our Chapter was awarded both the Green Chemistry Student Chapter Award and the Outstanding Student Chapter Award!
- Explored different options for both graduate school and industry work at expositions while in San Francisco
- Attended several talks on chemistry-related topics
Thank you for making this possible and enriching our educational experience at Duquesne University! We greatly appreciate your support!
Sincerely,
Erin Castele, junior chemistry major and Duquesne University ACS executive board member
Thank You!
Dear friend,
The Duquesne Chapter of the American Chemical Society is extremely grateful of your support to our crowdfunding campaign, which raised $1,250! We are very excited to attend the conference this April in San Francisco, CA. All of the work each student put into their research project can now be presented at this conference, and this was made possible because of you. Again, thank you for the generous support you have shown, we truly appreciate it!
Sincerely,
The Duquesne Chapter of the American Chemical Society
