We need your help!

Who?

We are five Duquesne University students who want to embrace the Spiritan mission of walking with those on the margins.

What? 

We will participate in a Spiritan Mission Experience (SME) in Dayton, OH. This is the sixth year Duquesne students will immerse themselves in this community, working alongside community members to learn about their hardships and grow in faith.

When? 

We will visit Dayton over our Spring Break, leaving Pittsburgh on Saturday, March 5 and returning Saturday, March 12.

Where? 

We will live and work with St. Benedict the Moor parish and school, a Black Catholic community in Dayton, OH, offering our time, energy, and hands to serve students and assist with building maintenance and renovations. Most importantly, we will lend our ears to listen to the stories and wisdom of community members.

How you can help?

We are asking for your donations to support St. Benedict the Moor school with items that have been cut from tight budgets. Your gift/donation will provide classroom and art supplies, toys and educational games, and building materials to the faculty, staff, and students of St. Benedict the Moor.
