What is audio engineering?
When you think of a recording studio or a live concert, audio engineers are the people who get everything up and running, and keep things on track behind the scenes. Duquesne offers the music technology major, in which students get to have hands-on experience with high-end gear, but the Audio Engineering Society (AES) provides even more opportunities for learning new techniques, getting to try out new gear, and making connections and friendships with other supportive audio engineers.

Why are we crowdfunding?
This semester, our goal is to participate in AES convention activities online as an organization, as well as continue to look forward to NAMM (which is slated to be in person this year in the spring!). We are currently looking to schedule guest speakers as well, so your financial support will help us greatly to get a better view of the audio industry!
