Music Therapy Student Association 2021
Who we are? What is MTSA? Who are the members?
The Duquesne University Music Therapy Student Association (MTSA) is an organization consisting of 29 undergraduate music therapy students from the Mary Pappert School of Music. The main objectives of our organization are to:
- further the advancement of its members in the field professionally and socially
- promote and advocate for the music therapy field
- support Duquesne University's campus and the surrounding community through service projects and events
Why donate and where does the money go?
The purpose of our crowdfunding campaign is to provide financial assistance so that Duquesne University MTSA members can attend the Mid Atlantic Regional Music Therapy Conference online April 8-10, 2021 this year!
Reasons why attending this conference would greatly add to our Duquesne University experience:
- some members have submitted presentation proposals and we have the opportunity to present in front of a captive audience
- opportunity to network with others in the field, which can lead to clinical opportunities or even full-time jobs post-graduation
- attend lectures run by professionals in the field
Your gift to our crowdfunding campaign will help to offset the various costs associated with our members being able to attend this important conference.
Please donate and help spread the word!
Please make a gift today and share this page with alumni, family, friends via e-mail, text message, word of mouth and on social media. Thank you!
