What is Duqathon?
Duqathon is a Duquesne University student-run organization that partners with the Children’s Miracle Network Dance Marathon, which is a program of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, a non-profit organization that raises funds and awareness for more than 170 pediatric hospitals across North America.
Now in our second year on campus, Duqathon members host events throughout the year to specifically support the kids at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, which culminates with our Dance Marathon in the spring.
In May of 2021, we held our first-ever Dance Marathon where we danced with over 250 students and raised $18,305.94 for the children of Pittsburgh.
We are excited to continue the growth of our organization on campus as well as throughout the Pittsburgh community. Together, we will fight for the kids and, with enough determination, win the battle against childhood illnesses!
How will your donation be used?
It is our hope that this crowdfunding campaign will help us raise all the funds necessary to put on our six-hour main event - the Dance Marathon - in April for the Duquesne student body, faculty, as well as the Pittsburgh community.

We need your help in this fight against pediatric illnesses. More than 10 million kids enter a children’s hospital like UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh across North America every year. To provide the best care for kids, children’s hospitals rely on donations and community support, as Medicaid and insurance programs do not fully cover the cost of care.
