Lambda Kappa Sigma 2021

Who are we?

The Lambda Kappa Sigma Tau chapter is Duquesne University’s chapter of Lambda Kappa Sigma. Lambda Kappa Sigma is a professional pharmacy fraternity that aims to elevate women in pharmacy through professional excellence and personal growth. As sisters of Lambda Kappa Sigma, we aim to impact the community through service, leadership, scholarship, integrity and sisterhood. Our philanthropy is Project HOPE, that provides medical supplies and personnel to areas of the world in need. We are currently Lambda Kappa Sigma’s largest collegiate chapter, and we have raised over $5,000 for Project HOPE. In 2020, we won Chapter of the Year at the Lambda Kappa Sigma Annual National Convention.

Why do we need donations?

The purpose of our crowdfunding campaign is to raise money in order for sisters of our chapter to attend the Lambda Kappa Sigma Annual National Convention. Your donations will help offset registration fees, travel costs, and support the sisters planning on attending for future years. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the state of convention is still unknown, however we would appreciate any donations to offset costs, as well as to provide a safety net for next year.

Attending this conference would greatly enhance our Duquesne University experience as it would give us the opportunity to:

• Present a poster and review other posters from other chapters in hopes to better our organization 
• Network with current pharmacists and other pharmacy students
• Attend lectures about leadership and current pharmacy topics
