Alpha Phi 2021

Thank you to all of our amazing donors who already helped us reach our crowdfunding campaign goal! Due to COVID-19, we set a modest goal for our campaign, but donations are still needed and being accepted. It’s not too late to get your name on the Donor Wall. Let’s see how high we can go! Thank you for your consideration and support.

Alpha Phi at Duquesne University

Since 1970, the Epsilon Iota Chapter of Alpha Phi have attained and exemplified our sorority’s core values of sisterhood, scholarship, and service to Duquesne University and the greater Pittsburgh Area. We, the sisters of Alpha Phi, take pride in our involvement on campus, our philanthropic efforts, and the unique bond we share amongst one another.

Alpha Phi Today

As of right now during the COVID 19 pandemic, we are unable to gather collectively for the typical agenda we usually have during our academic year. Although it has been hard for us not to be doing those things, we have found a way to remain connected.

Being able to utilize Zoom and respect social distancing guidelines, sisterhood events have still been the most fun. Whether it’s tie-dying in our pods, having a guest speaker talk to us via Zoom to discuss our sisterhood, or even participating in a Kahoot, we can still feel the love from one another. Although the world has changed, our sisterhood has not.

Every year, the Epsilon Iota Chapter of Alpha Phi hosts two benefits, the Red Dress Gala and Alpha Phifa. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we don’t know what these events could look like, or if we will even be able to host them at all. Sisterhood events, like I mentioned earlier, have been very important to us for this reason.

Please donate today!

Our sorority will use your donation to help pay for:

  • Transportation to our conferences
  • Renovations to the Alpha Phi wing on Duquesne University's campus
  • Additional chapter needs such as sisterhood events

* Use of all donations will be approved by Rebecca Mickler, Duquesne University Director of Greek Life.
