Our Strong Women, Strong Girls (SWSG) annual educational field trip was held on Duquesne University’s campus Saturday, April 23. Thanks to your generosity towards our crowdfunding campaign, you helped bring our grade school mentees to campus for the day, which was filled with learning, laughs and lots of smiles! Many of our girls even remarked how they want to attend Duquesne University when they grow up!

This day is not just a highlight of the year for our mentees, but also for all of us students in SWSG. We are super appreciative that you provided us with this opportunity! THANK YOU!

We are so excited to let you know that we exceeded our $2,000 crowdfunding goal in less than a week! Thanks to your generosity, we will be able to bring our mentees from underserved areas in Pittsburgh to Duquesne’s campus for an educational field trip on Saturday, April 23. Your donation will provide transportation, lunch and snacks, supplies and even a special surprise appearance by Pittsburgh Pirates Pierogie Jalapeño Hannah!

We will continue to accept donations for the duration of our 30-day crowdfunding campaign. These additional donations will be used to help cover other costs of the field trip and special programming we have planned this year.
