Lambda Kappa Sigma 2020

Who are we?

Duquesne University’s Lambda Kappa Sigma Tau chapter of Lambda Kappa Sigma is a professional pharmacy fraternity that aims to elevate women in pharmacy through professional excellence and personal growth. As sisters of Lambda Kappa Sigma, we aim to impact the community through service, leadership, scholarship, integrity and sisterhood.

It's a great time for our Chapter, as we:

• Were named Northeastern Region Chapter of the Year at last year's LKS Convention
• Currently have 155 members
• Have raised over $4,300 this school year to support our philanthropy Project Hope, which provides medical supplies and personnel to areas of the world in need

But we strongly believe that the support of our alumni and friends to make this a successful crowdfunding campaign would take our organization to even greater heights.

Why do we need donations?

The purpose of our crowdfunding campaign is to raise money in order for sisters of our chapter to attend the annual Lambda Kappa Sigma National Convention in Indianapolis July 22-25, 2020. Your donations will help offset the costs of:

• convention registration
• transportation
• lodging

Why is it important that we attend the convention?

The opportunity to attend this convention would greatly enhance our Duquesne University experience, as we would be able to:

• Present a poster and review posters from other chapters to better our organization
• Network with current pharmacists and other pharmacy students
• Attend lectures about leadership and current pharmacy topics
