Our Symposium Was A Success!

September 06, 2018

Hello!

I wanted to reach out one last time and thank all of our generous donors on behalf of the Fall 2018 GSSPC! Our symposium in memory of Dr. Madura was a great success, as we heard many wonderful talks and heartwarming stories related to Dr. Madura’s illustrious career. We made many new friends, and our social event held afterwards allowed us to continue the great conversations that had been started earlier in the day. Once again, a huge thank you goes out to the donors, as your financial contributions ultimately allowed us to host an unforgettable symposium.

Kind Regards,

Thank You!

August 13, 2018

Hello!

I wanted to reach out and thank our donors again for such generous contributions! We have raised a total of $3,264, which surpassed our initial target of $2,000 by a great amount. Thanks to you, we are able to support committee and speaker travel to and from Boston, MA. Additionally, we are hosting a networking event which is designed to promote communication between our speakers and any graduate students/professors who attend. The Fall 2018 GSSPC is humbled to have such a supportive group of colleagues and friends, who have helped to make this symposium a memorable experience for all who attend!

Kind Regards,

We Have Exceeded Our Goal!

July 27, 2018

Hello!

I just wanted to reach out to thank everyone who has contributed towards our symposium in memory of Dr. Jeffry D. Madura. Thus far, we’ve surpassed our initial target of $2,000 by almost 300 dollars! Our committee is very grateful for the generous donations received so far, and the funds will go a long way in supporting committee travel and lodging. It turns out that Boston is quite an expensive city!

We are still aspiring to raise as much money as possible in order to offset potential costs associated with our networking event, which is designed to promote interdisciplinary communication between our guests and speakers. If anyone is interested in providing more support – please feel free to spread the word of our Crowdfunding effort via social media by using the link: www.spirit.duq.edu/gsspc.

Thanks again for the overwhelming support received so far!

Kind Regards,

Over $1,000 Raised! Please Help Spread the Word!

July 20, 2018

Hello!

My name is Sean Fischer and I am writing to personally thank you for your generous contribution towards our symposium being held in memory of Dr. Jeffry D. Madura. Thus far, we've raised over $1,000 towards our $2,000 goal!

Due to the overwhelming support received, we are able to fund committee travel to and from Boston, MA. But, we still hope to reach our $2,000 goal to help offset additional costs we will incur to host and execute this special event.

You can provide even more support by spreading the word to others who might be interested in donating to our campaign. Please share our link via e-mail and social media - www.spirit.duq.edu/gsspc. We would greatly appreciate your help with this additional push.

Thanks again for helping make this vision of ours a reality!

Kind Regards,

Sean Fischer
