Greek Life at Duquesne University

Duquesne University has 15 Greek Life organizations that all stress the importance of life-time membership, academic excellence, leadership, community service, strong friendships, learning outside the classroom, spiritual, intellectual and social growth.

Panhellenic and Interfraternity Councils 

The Panhellenic and Interfraternity Councils are umbrella organizations for both sororities and fraternities. 

• The Panhellenic Council supports the eight sororities on Duquesne’s campus to help main the highest scholastic and social standards. 
• The Interfraternity Council supports the seven fraternities at Duquesne to help enrich, advance and grow the Greek experience.
  

What will donations to the Panhellenic and Interfraternity Councils support?

Donations made to our crowdfunding campaign will provide financial support to two critical Greek Life initiatives: Greek Week and Recruitment.

• Greek Week: Greek Week is a week-long event that brings together each sorority and fraternity on campus in order to create lasting memories and raise money for amazing causes. Beginning in 1960, we have been able to create a tradition that everyone can look forward to - not just our campus organizations!
  
• Recruitment: By hosting recruitment events during the Spring Semester, we are able to grow our chapters and continue to do what we love! Whether that is by helping others within our communities or across the world.

We would greatly appreciate your generous support to help offset the costs to host programming throughout Greek Week and Recruitment. Gifts of all sizes will help to strengthen Greek Life on Duquesne's campus.
